1960 Feb. Company was found with the name of Takawaki-gumi at Nihombashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo with a capital of 400,000 yen.
1963 Apr. Renamed to Takawaki Corporation. Capital increased to 1 million yen. Head Office and Tokyo Sales Office moved to Ueno, Tokyo.
1964 June. Saitama Sales Office opened in Kitamoto, Saitama. Capital increased to 3 million yen.
1967 July. Capital increased to 10 million yen.
1970 Aug. Capital increased to 21 million yen.
1974 Aug. Capital increased to 31 million yen.
1976 Oct. Capital increased to 45 million yen.
1981 Apr. Sano Sales Office opened in Sano, Tochigi.
1989 July. Capital increased to 98.32 million yen in May, and to 248.32 million yen.
1990 June. Tokyo Sales Office moved to Yashio, Saitama.
1991 Feb. Capital increased to 443.32 million yen. Takawaki Steel Sales & Leasing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary, was merged and absorbed into the company. Head Office moved to Kitamoto, Saitama.
1992 July. Business Center moved from Higashi Ueno, Tokyo to Omiya, Saitama.
1993 June. Machinery Control Center opened at Sano, Tochigi.
1994 Jan. Developed TAKAWAKI Hollow Trench Enlarged Foot Protection Method for steel pipe piles (TBS Method) (Construction), which was approved by the then Ministry of Construction.
1997 Jan. Developed TAKAWAKI Hollow Trench Enlarged Foot Protection Method for steel pipe piles (TBS Method) (Civil Work), whose technique was qualified/certified by the Japan Institute of Construction Engineering, an extra-governmental body of the then Ministry of Construction.
June. Engineering Dept. was established in the Head Office.
Aug. The TBS Method Association was established with the aim of spreading the method.
1999 Mar. Participated in the reinforcement work for the damaged levee of the Yangtze River, China as an engineering consultant.
2000 July. Order for demolition work of Ogawa Prefectural House was received from Saitama prefectural government (the 1st order receiving from this local government).
2001 Aug. Order for sand surface meter installation work for the Kinu River was received from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kanto Regional Development Bureau (the 1st order receiving from this governmental organization).
2002 May. Achieved improvement of TAKAWAKI Hollow Trench Enlarged Foot Protection Method for steel pipe piles (TBS Method) (Civil Work), whose technique was qualified/certified by the Japan Institute of Construction Engineering as having the load bearing capacity equivalent to the hollow trench piling specified for road bridges in the Specification dated March 2002.
2003 Feb. Order for demolition work of Kawaguchi Kisoro Prefectural House for Teachers was received from Saitama prefectural government.
Apr. The company was awarded by Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation, Saitama Branch, for our innovative ideas and originality.
Sep. The company obtained the whole stock of Japan Earth Protect Co., Ltd., a Saitama-based environmental assessment and certification company, to launch into an integrated environmental business including improvements and purification of contaminated soil.
2004 Mar. The company, together with some other companies, acquired the stock of “Yorii Compost Corporation” in Yorii, Saitama, which produces high-quality compost from industrial waste (sludge, waste oil, etc.), and became the largest shareholder.
Apr. The company took over Kyowa Technology Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based construction consulting and environmental assessment/certification company, to take part in soil and water analysis business on a full scale.
May. Takasaki Office, Gunma, was opened.
2006 Mar. Japan Earth Protect and Kyowa Technology were merged into one through assignment of goodwill, aiming at expansion of analysis business.
Aug. Achieved development of TAKAWAKI Enlarged Head Foot Protection Method for steel pipe piles (TBSR Method) through a joint development project with Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd., which was approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Oct. Tokyo Sales Office moved from Yashio to Kawaguchi.
2007 Feb. We developed the "DUCPILE" process (civil engineering) jointly with Kubota Corporation in April 2007, obtaining the Construction Technology Review and Certification from the Public Work Research Center.
May. Patent No.3954465モExpanding Excavation Syatem and Pipe/Pile Construction Methodモhas been registered.
2008 July. Received an award of メ2007 Good Quality Subcontractor and Superior Engineers" from the manager of Takasaki Office of River and National Highway of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry.
2009 Jan. The company obtained a license as a real estate agent “No.(1) 021568” from the Governor of Saitama under the Real Estate Transaction Law.
Oct. According to the existing accreditation criteria established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the piles used in the TAKAWAKI Enlarged Head Foot Protection Method for steel pipe piles (TBSR Method) (developed jointly with Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.) must be steel pipes. However, the use of concrete piles with a steel pipe shell as intermediate and upper piles has been newly approved.
